There are so many differences that exist. 7.8 billion people in the world look different. More than 7,000 languages are spoken in the world. Even siblings have different appetites. There are many students with learning differences. Some read slowly, understand differently, or respond differently. Unfortunately, students with learning differences face challenges daily in the classroom, with the teachers, friends, or even their family members because of a lack of understanding. Advocacy for The Unique (AFU) promotes social awareness of students with learning differences and helps students with learning differences in self-advocacy.
