ABOUT AFU

Advocacy For the Unique (AFU) aims to promote social awareness of the daily challenges faced by students with learning differences and decrease and eventually remove social bias against them.  AFU holds virtual town hall meetings to increase solidarity and share the challenges.  AFU holds webinars for experts and professionals who have the same goals.

 

AFU holds its annual essay competition (AFU Essay Competition) for high school and middle school students, encouraging students with learning differences to share their challenges.  The primary goal of the AFU Essay Competition is to share our challenges and feelings and promote social awareness.
